Pinchos is the Spanish word for “spikes,” and is a Puerto Rican “fast food” staple. It is a simple and versatile recipe perfect for grilling on the weekends with family and friends. Kids love them!
Grilled Puerto Rican Chicken Pinchos
Ingredients
- 3 pounds Boneless chicken thighs
- 2 packets Sazón con culantro y achiote
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp Dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- Olive oil
- Peppper and salt to taste
- 1/3 cup Barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Heat the grill, slide chicken onto the skewers, leaving space on each end for the Baguette
- Grill the pinchos for 10 minutes until the chicken is golden and throughly cooked.
- Traditionally, Pinchos are served with a slice of baguette on the corner, so let's do it and enjoy!
