Cachangas
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar La Fe
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 cup Cold Water
- 70 gr Unsalted Butter
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl add a cup of flour, a tablespoon of baking soda, salt, melted butter and an egg. Then add cold water and mix all together until we have a homogeneous dough.
- Let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Take out the dough carefully and knead for a little while.
- Form balls and knead them with a rolling pin. Flatten it a little with a your hands if needed.
- Heat oil in a pot and fry them on both sides until golden and crispy.
- They can be enjoyed alone or accompanied or with fresh cheese, ham, egg, honey or whatever you like most.
